How in the world is the month of December here already? The weather is definitely on the brisk side and the winds are starting to pick up here in Michigan. With the thought of one more month until we say goodbye to 2020, I would like to remind you not to give up on your physical fitness and finish strong. This year has been one to write in the books and one for adjustment in all avenues of our lives.
Physical fitness is one aspect of our lives that we can control during this time and the days to come. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest which many people miss this key ingredient to proper health. So physical fitness is to the human body what fine tuning is to an engine. It enables us to perform up to our fullest potential. I love what physical activity does to the brain as well. When we freshen up our routine of working out and try new ways to increase strength, try a new cardio workout, or something fun like Zumba…we stimulate our brain and allow it to work more efficiently.
Keep moving & stay safe!
